Alright, a lot of you may be sitting there thinking.. what's a secret?
A secret, in it's most basic sense, is just that - a secret. It can be anything you want it to be, as long as it is in fact a secret.
Well-known facts, old gossip, or anything that the general public could find out does not qualify as a secret.
Personal opinions/thoughts, insider information, or anything the general public could not find out easily are considered secrets.
Okay, so we cleared that up (maybe). The next question is, how do we going about posting these so-called secrets?
It's quite simple, really.
1. Open up a simple program such as Paint, or Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop, etc. Some sort of graphics program. Design your secret & save it as an image (.png, .jpg, .gif) You can spruce it up all nice w/ photos and the like if you're graphically advanced or it can be as simple as possible, it doesn't really matter.
2. Go to your email and send the file as an attachment to firstname.lastname@example.org . You should get a confirmation email sent back to you shortly afterwards to let you know it's been uploaded. If you don't get one, obviously you might want to try again.
3. Later in the week I'll collect all of the secrets in the photobucket and post them on the community.
4. Once the secrets have been posted, the community is open for members and anonymous posters to read and comment on them.Still confused?
I'm not surprised, I have trouble explaining things clearly sometimes.
Try having a look around at hansonsecrets
to get an idea of what a secret is and what this type of community is all about.
